Lim Haw Kuang, studied at Imperial College, University of London under a
Shell scholarship and graduated with a Computing Science degree in 1978.
He joined Shell in Malaysia in the same year and has since served in various
capacities in IT, Finance, Natural Gas, Exploration and Production, Oil Products
and Corporate Head Offices in different Shell operations. On 1st September 2005,
he was appointed Executive Chairman of Shell Companies in China. He is currently
a Board Director of China Business Council for Sustainable Development. He is
also the Honorary President of Business Council for Sustainable Development in
Malaysia and has been awarded state honours by the Malaysian government.
In 1985, he was sponsored by the company to study at International Management
Institute, Geneva and graduated with a MBA in International Management
