HNA Inaugurating the Program of ”°March toward Brightness”± |
Mr. Chen Feng announced the Inauguration of the program of ”°HNA Group- Hainan, March toward Brightness”± at the concert of ”°Happiness in China”±. The capital of this program is supported and donated by HNA Group. Ms. Fu Guihua, vice governor of Hainan Province received the start-up capital of RMB500 thousands from HNA Group on the ceremony.
It's reported that the program of ”°HNA March toward Brightness”± was launched in the year of 2004 by HNA Group to answer the call of the central government. HNA Group plans to donate RMB5 million in 10 years in this program to purchase the synthetic capsule for 2000 suffers of cataract who will also receive good treatment from Beijing Tongren Hospital and the Chinese National Committee for the Prevention of Blindness.
Data from Hainan Health Department shows there are 36000 suffers of cataract in Hainan Province with a gradually increase of over 3000 patients per year. Due to lack of strong technology and fund, the Prevention of Blindness program in Hainan can only offer operation for less than 1000 patients which urgently requires improvement.
Mr. Chen Feng urged on the inauguration ceremony of ”°HNA March toward Brightness”± that: to answer the call from central government to construct a harmonious society and a harmonious Hainan, and to return Hainan People of their support to HNA Group in the past years, HNA Group will donate RMB500 thousand as the start-up capital to work together with the Chinese National Committee of Prevention of Blindness to deliver a proposal of donation for this program, and to mobilize doctors majored on eye to work together for help all the patients with cataract to regain see sights. All parties should work together to build Hainan as a Model Province of Prevention of Blindness for the whole nation. |
