Vice Minister Zhai Haohui met with Malaysian Minister of Energy, Water and Communication

| On May 10, Vice Minister Zhai Haohui of MWR met with Mr. Lim Keng Yaik, Minister of Energy, Water and Communication. Malaysian Ambassador Dato's Syed Nowlzaman attended the meeting. During the meeting, Vice Minister Zhai passed on the greetings from Minister Wang Shucheng to Malaysian Minister, and introduced the development of China’s water sector, hydropower construction and so forth. Malaysian Minister responded with the introduction of energy, water resources and hydropower construction in Malaysia, and expressed the hope of Malaysian government and enterprises for promoting the cooperation with Chinese hydraulic and hydropower enterprises. Vice Minister Zhai warmly invited Mr. Lim Keng Yaik to China again and visit the water conservancy construction projects. Leaders of Department of International Cooperation, Science and Technology, Department of Planning and Programming, Bureau of Hydrology and Bureau of Hydropower Development of Ministry of Water Resources also attended the meeting. |
