Saudi Arabia, China pledge to expand energy cooperation

| Saudi Arabia and China pledged on Sunday in Riyadh to make efforts to boost energy cooperation in various fields. During talks between Saudi Oil Minister Ali Naimi and Zhang Guobao,Chinese vice minister of the National Development and Reform Commission, both sides fully affirmed the positive results yielded by Sino-Saudi joint ventures, such as oil, petrochemical and natural gas projects. They also discussed some mining and refining projects involving Chinese firms in the Arab kingdom. Zhang, who heads a Chinese energy delegation on a three-day working visit to Saudi Arabia, arrived in Riyadh on Friday. |
