Sinopec Ships Diesel to Guangdong

Sinopec Guangdong branch has shipped nearly 65,000 tons of diesel oil from Singapore and east China last weekend, to the cities in the Pearl River Delta in south China, CCTV.com reported. The diesel will be used to ease the supply shortage in the region. Sinopec says the shortage is mainly caused by the dropping temperatures in the cities, bad weather on the ocean shipping, and the winter breaks at the hydro-dynamic power stations. Another 200,000 tons of diesel oil are expected to be shipped within the next few days, and the branch will maintain the supply between 35,000 to 40,000 tones.
