The fully upgraded website of CBCSD is officially launched in July after six months of development! The new website has new sections with rich content and flexibility. The section Projects and Activities includes projects of corporate social responsibilities, energy and climate change, ecological civilization and urbanization, compilation of sustainable development report, HSE and water sustainability, which highlight the working programs and focus of CBCSD; the website also sets up a new Membership Section, serving as the quick access for members to share their news and update information, thus to increase the interaction within the council. We sincerely welcome all board members and member enterprises to share your latest achievements and best practices in sustainable development field on our new website.

The databases of the key projects are categorized into 5 columns: energy and greenhouse gases, work safety (HSE), compilation of sustainable development report, water, CBCSD newsletter and new trends in sustainable development. The databases pool and update legal regulations, measuring methods, industry and national standards from both home and abroad on energy conservation and greenhouse gas emissions, such as ISO 14064, Greenhouse Gas Protocol (GHG Protocol) launched by WRI-WBCSD, Compendium of Greenhouse Gas Emissions Methodologies for the Oil and Gas Industry issued by American Petroleum Institute(API), files of Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change(IPCC); emission factor calculation, technology roadmap developed by International Energy Agency(IEA) and GHG trainings; recommended safe production standards developed by CBCSD; ISO26000, guidelines and indicator protocols of GRI; WBCSD Global Water Tool, water tools in oil and gas industry and update in factor calculation; the Cement Sustainability Initiative(CSI), new reports and tools from International Integrated Report Council(IIRC).
