China Business Council for Sustainable Development (CBCSD) is to hold the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the Tenth Workshop on the Latest Trends of Sustainable Development on April 17th (Thursday), 2014 in Beijing.
The Tenth Workshop on the Latest Trends of Sustainable Development will be held with the theme of “Urban Sustainable Development from the Energy Perspective”. Leaders from governments, enterprises and research institutes, along with domestic and international known professionals, are invited to discuss topics including:
- Policies and role of business on Low-carbon development, low-carbon city and carbon trade pilot;
- China carbon emissions peak and its influence on energy policies;
- Institutional reform focusing on low carbon urbanization, promote the transfer of urban developing mode, realize the sustainable, ecological, low-carbon and green development of cities;
- Comprehensive interpretation on China’s air pollution prevention and control plan, offer concrete and practical advises on the implementation of relevant regulations;
- Approaches to address impacts and challenges raised by shale gas and new revolution of conventional energy.
