China-EU Joint Statement: to Strengthen Climate Change Cooperation in Bilateral Relations

China and the European Union issued a joint statement on climate change in Brussels on June 29. Both sides emphasized the importance of taking prompt actions on climate change by 2020. They reaffirmed the commitment made by developed countries that developed countries should jointly mobilize 100 billion US dollars every year until 2020 to meet the needs of developing countries in the context of taking meaningful mitigation actions and being transparent.
