In China Economic Update 2015, the World Bank remains optimistic on China’s economic prospects. It believes that it is necessary for China’s economic growth to continue slowing down. The new normal of China means that China’s economy is growing more slowly but more sustainably. According to the Update, it is still the priority of China in 2015 to balance the reform and short-term growth. In the medium term, the major policy challenge is how to make the economy grow in a way of high efficiency, equality and sustainability.
