In the afternoon of December 8, "China Low Carbon Alliance: Low Carbon Action of Chinese Enterprises" Conference was successfully held at the China Pavilion, Le Bourget, Paris. During the meeting, Mr. Wang Jiming, President of the China Business Council for Sustainable Development (CBCSD), delivered a speech of “how petrochemical enterprises participating carbon trading actively and reducing the GHG reduction cost with marketing methods", he mentioned that "Action is the best manifesto". As a federation of Chinese and foreign industrial and commercial enterprises in China, CBCSD followed the “government leading, enterprise-dominant, key to fulfillment” rule, carried out work in the carbon trading and addressing climate change field actively in recent ten years, released and implemented serial greenhouse gas emissions calculation method standards, and promoted the petrochemical and other key industries to participate in carbon trading practices.
