On April 20th, CBCSD held the 12th Conference on Latest Trends of Sustainable Development, with a focus on Pathway to Green and Low Carbon Development. Wang Zhongyu, President of China Enterprise Confederation and China Enterprise Directors Association, said that developed economies such as the EU have taken the lead in achieving the method of green supply chain and bringing the global manufacturing industry into a friendly new era. Dr. Kim Myung-Ja, Chairperson of Korea BCSD urged China and South Korea to expand international cooperation and further the integrated development of manufacturing and service industries with the push of information technology and that CBCSD and KBCSD should make concerted efforts and strive for the UN SDGs and a new agreement on climate.
