2016 China Summit on Achieving SDGs was held in Beijing

On August 22, in respond to the the United Nations’ SDGs and supported by National Development and Reform Commission and China Enterprise Confederation, 2016 China Summit on Achieving SDGs was held in Beijing to demonstrate the contributions of Chinese enterprises. A senior UN official said in this summit that Chinese firms have displayed excellence in promoting sustainable growth and can play a bigger role to help other nations achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). 16 Chinese enterprises were selected as pioneer enterprises and 5 of them are CBCSD Board member companies including China Petrochemical Corporation, Baosteel Group Corporation, China National Building Materials Group, HNA Group and Novozymes China.Click here to read the Chinese news
