CBCSD successfully held the 14th Conference on the Latest Trends of Sustainable Development under the theme of ‘Deepening Reform and Opening-Up, Corporate Sustainability in the New Era’ on April 18 from 10:20 to 17:00. A total of 170 senior executives, experts, and guests from CBCSD board and member companies, the central government, businesses, academia, and social organizations attended the meeting. Mr. Wang Zhongyu, President of China Enterprise Confederation (CEC) and Standing Vice Chairman of the 10th CPPCC, delivered the opening speech. Senior leaders and experts from the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council (SASAC), Development Research Center (DRC) of the State Council, National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE), CEC, World Resources Institute (WRI), UNGC China Network, and CBCSD board members exchanged their views on the new trends of 2018 concerning the sustainable development. Mr. Zhu Hongren, Standing Vice President and Director-General of CEC, chaired the meeting.
