The Stage Report on the Development of China Corporate Sustainability Index was officially released on the CBCSD 14th Conference on the Latest Trends of Sustainable Development held on April 18. after assessing more than 100 Chinese companies' capacity for sustainable development using 68 indicators in three categories, namely market competitiveness, environmental protection and social relationships, the report shows that the overall sustainable development of Chinese companies is at a rising stage, but severe challenges are facing in terms of resources and environment.
