The 2018 China Top 500 Enterprises Summit will be held in Xi'an, capital of China's Shaanxi Province on Sept. 1-2, a press conference revealed in Beijing on Wednesday.
The summit, hosted by the China Enterprise Confederation and China Enterprise Directors Association, is "the most authoritative platform providing important information about major Chinese enterprises and promoting the cooperation between these enterprises and local economies in the country," said Wang Jiming, vice president of China Enterprise Confederation during the press conference.
According to Wang, the summit will publish several rankings for 2018, including a list of China's top 500 enterprises, top 500 manufacturing enterprises, top 500 service sector enterprises and top 100 multinational enterprises.
A comparison and analysis report on the top 500 enterprises in China, U.S. and the world as well as research reports concerning the development trends of big Chinese companies will also be released.
Fourteen sub-forums will be held to discuss topics including digital property, information security and clean-energy enterprises.
Xi'an has so far rolled out multiple projects related to high-end equipment manufacturing, big data, trade and logistics, as well as culture and tourism, seeking cooperation with major Chinese enterprises, said Qiang Xiao'an, vice mayor of the city.
