Recently, CBCSD board member Schneider Electric announced that it would contribute an electrician laboratory to Yinchuan Millenium Vocational School. At the mean time, another completed intelligence lighting lab that Schneider Electric donated had already been under use. The two labs will facilitate teaching, and help the students with their skills and practice. The donation is not only a landmark for Schneider Electric in pormoting education, but also witnesses its efforts in scaling up CSR and sustainable development while developing business in the west.

As the expert in global energy efficiency, Schneider Electric is actively promoting sustainable development while bringing in leading energy efficiency solutions to China. Through the Luli project, Clear Water Plan, emergency help project, university program, and earth and social biometer projects, Schneider Electric is implementing a series of CSR projects in return to the Chinese cities, thus to build a harmonious society. From 2000 till now, Schneider has donated over 100 million yuan worth of capital and goods to China, with 10 million yuan coming from its employees.
