CCTV recently launched the program frontline reports of Chinese Economic Transformation focusing on continuous reports on the social and environmental problems brought by the over production capacity, which triggered much feedback from the public. On the topic of cement, the report introduced the severe domestic cement situation as a result of over production capacity. CCTV took Hua Xin Cement, Member of CBCSD, as a successful case on coping with the serious situation and made an interview with Li Yeqing, the President of Hua Xin Cement, and one of its subsidiaries, Zi Gui Firm, which treats the floating debris disposed around the Three Gorges of Yangtze River.
It is reported that Huaxin changed its developing model, fully took advantage of its technic strength and strove to create a green environment-friendly enterprise. Its related experience has been well received in the media.
