On morning of September 3rd, a brief but solemn operational ceremony was held for Huaxin’s Chenjiachong living garbage ecological disposal project – the first living garbage ecological disposal project in Wuhan, which symbolizes the formal operation of the disposal project.
Located in Yangluo Development Zone of Wuhan City, the project covers an area of 49.82 acres with a total investment of 150 million yuan. After finishing two steps of construction, the project will disposal 350,000 tons of municipal solid waste safely, harmlessly and stably as well as saving 40,000 tons of coal. Waste environmental disposal process can effectively solve the ecological garbage odor produced in the process of garbage drying and produce no solid and gas waste.
Li Yeqing, the President of Huaxin Cement, said that Huaxin will take this project as a chance to further close cooperation with Wuhan City and endeavor into Wuhan’s environmental industry. As a result, garbage disposal will be addressed fundamentally and urban environment will be better cleaned and improved.
Zhou Jiaming, the labor union president of Huaxin, hosted the operation ceremony and Hu Shuguang, Deputy Secretary of Municipal Party Committee announced the formal operation of the disposal project.
