On 9th December, 2014, the vice president and CIO of China Minmetals Corporation—Yao Ziping and the delegation visited WISCO, the vice president of WISCO and the president of WISCO Ltd.—Zhou Jixin warmly received them. Trough mutual consultation, the two parties signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement.
China Minmetals Corporation and WISCO Group are enterprises governed by the Central Government but in different positions of the same industry chain. The two parties had sound cooperative relations for many years. They signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement on March,2013. This year WISCO Ltd. committed to substantive cooperation in steel deep processing and steel trading with Minmetals Materials (Changshu) and achieved good results.

During this meeting, the two parties not only reviewed the cooperation in last year but also looked into the prospects for cooperation in 2015. Over the past year, WISCO Ltd. sent an elite team to give site instruction thus improving management and product quality in steel processing line for Minmetals Materials. The top management of both parties paid high attention on this results. Next year the two parties will adjust the structure, expand capacity, cut down cost and increase benefit in steel deep precessing based on the market actual situation and explore new business model, expand steel trades and cooperative way based on WISCO technology and management advantages, Minmetals logistic and marketing network advantages.
Later on , WISCO Ltd. and Minmetals Materials (Changshu) signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement.
