BP 2035 Energy Outlook: China will be the World’s Largest Energy Importer

On April 28, BP released the BP 2035 Energy Outlook in Beijing, which showed that the energy structure of China will keep changing, by 2035, coal’s leading position will decline to 51%, natural gas will double to 12%, and petroleum will stay the same as 18%. BP predicted that China will be the world’s largest energy importer by 2035 and surpass Europe with the rate grow from 15% to 23%.
