Recently, the State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) generally described the grid development goals in the period of 13th five-year plan at the SGCC Studying and Implementing the Spirit of the 5th Plenary Session of the 18th CPC Central Committee & 2015 Quarter IV Working Conference, which preliminarily shows the SGCC development frame in the period of 13th five-year plan. Liu Zhenya, Secretary of Party Committee and Chairman of SGCC, expressed that it is the key period now to plan the development of grid in the period of 13th five-year plan and even in the long term, and the safety and reliability should be taken as the premises to more quickly solve the problem of "weaknesses at both ends", construct a safer, stronger and more effective State Grid, guarantee the national energy safety, adapt to the requirements of large-scale clean energy development and diversified electricity utilization, and meet the power requirements of economic and social development.
