Shanghai will become BASF’s global R&D base for advanced materials

The advanced material and system research platform, one of the three global R&D platforms of BASF, will be launched in Shanghai in January, 2016. BASF aims to make the R&D and innovation process closer to downstream users and also serve the global market. In the future, about one fourth of BASF’s global R&D activities will be conducted in the Asia Pacific region.
