Schneider Electric Industry Software 2017 China Conference Held in Beijing

Schneider Electric Industry Software 2017 China Conference was held in Beijing on September 5, under the theme of “Digitize, Transform, Empower”.

In this event, Schneider Electric exhibited comprehensive industry software solutions and applications in their served industries, including refinery & petrochemical, metal, mining, power generation, cement, water treatment, food & beverage, and others. More than 200 professionals from these industries attended the event.

There were several keynote presentations in the morning. Warren Ma, Senior Vice President of Schneider Electric China Industry Business, shared the innovation of EcoStruxure. EcoStruxure is an open, interoperable, IoT-enabled system architecture and platform that leverages advancements in IoT, mobility, sensing, cloud, analytics, and cybersecurity to deliver innovation at every level. EcoStruxure has been deployed in 450,000+ installations, with the support of 9,000 system integrators, connecting over 1 billion devices.

Cui JingYi, acting head of Schneider Electric China Industry Software Business, shared business strategy to help their customers to realize digital transformation. In her presentation, she also introduced System Platform 2017, the newly launched platform for Supervisory, HMI/SCADA, MES, and IIoT. System Platform 2017 brings the value of easy-to-build, easy-to-use, and easy-to-own to users.

David Cao, country manager of ARC Advisory Group, gave a presentation about the digital transformation of industry enterprises, discussing some of hot concepts in this area, including cloud computing, industry analytics, and machine learning in asset management and others.

There were four breakout sessions in the afternoon, with the targeted industries being refinery and petrochemical; metal, mining, cement and power generation; water and infrastructure; and food & beverage. Many end-users shared best practices in these sessions, and most of Schneider Electric applications, analytics, and services, like SimSci, Spiral Crude, and Avantis were also discussed.
