Awarded women leadership in Eaton: we keep moving on

SHANGHAI … On June 13, in recognition of the leadership and belonging company’s endeavor to support women in their career development, Cally Wu, Vice President Human Resources Corporate, Asia Pacific at Eaton, receives the Women Innovation Leadership Award on behalf of Eaton and is named as Academic Advisor for Women Leadership during the 2018 Women • Reform • Leadership Forum organized by Shanghai Daily.

The forum aims to honor outstanding companies and females for their achievements in pursuing gender equality and women’s leadership. 23 awards are given this year. Winners are females from various industries and fields.

“These women are the faces of exciting careers from different functions and industries” said Zhu Jiajian, President of Shanghai Daily, “We chose to honor these women because they each made significant achievements in their own area through positive impact on their company and their industry as a whole. They are examples of women leadership all around.” The awards are part of the larger Women Leadership program to empower women’s career and leadership and push forward gender equality in companies.

In addition, WAVE, in this year, goes on breaking through the limitation of gender and develops more males to join, hence to add the integrity and more diversified contents to the program and facilitate the growth of women multidimensionally. Every year, women from different sectors will be honored for their contributions to specific fields. The theme this year is to encourage women in our manufacturing plants.
