Last night the annual World Dairy Innovation Awards, in association with FoodBev Media, took place at the 12th Global Dairy Congress in Warsaw, Poland. The judging panel considered entries from over 23 countries in 17 categories.
“This is the twelfth annual World Dairy Innovation Awards, and once again we are fascinated by the level of innovation that is shown within the entries. I’m excited to see the wide array of innovations that we’ve become accustomed to from the World Dairy Innovation Awards. This scheme, presented at the Global Dairy Congress, is the biggest date in the global dairy industry’s calendar. I am hoping to see new flavours and exciting new concepts within yogurt and cheese snacks, ways in which dairy companies are making milk fairer for farmers, and the latest signs of strength from an industry that has benefited from renewed vigour over the last three or four years.” said FoodBev Media’s Group Editor Alex Clere. “The World Dairy Innovation Awards really showcase some of the most ambitious new products and developments of the year, from a wide range of companies all over the world, both large and small. Keep an eye on the latest entries to spot the upcoming trends.”
Inner Mongolia Yili won the award in the “Best dairy product from Asia” category with its butter.
