The World Steel Association (worldsteel) announced winners for the Steelie Award on October 14. China Baowu’s Use of LCA on Carbon Trading Market Policy Making won the Excellence in Life Cycle Assessment award.
The World Steel Association established the Steelie Award to commend member companies and individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the steel industry in the past year and have made an impact on the industry. The shortlist for the 11th Steelie Award was announced on October 5. There are seven categories: Excellence in Digital Communications, Innovation of the Year, Excellence in Sustainability, Excellence in Life Cycle Assessment, Excellence in Education and Training, Journalist of the Year and Excellence in Communications Programmes.
