Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) announced the name list of the 2nd batch of backward production capacity enterprises to be eliminated. The list involves 67 domestic companies, which are all belonging to the low-end paper industry. Mian Wei, Minister of MIIT, says that China has enhanced efforts on eliminating backward production capacity. However, the new production capacity has increase much more quickly than eliminating backward production capacity. Consequently, over production capacity has arisen.
