On 13th, Nov., according to Beijing Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology (MCEIT), Beijing plans to issue an industry admittance catalog strictly based on national standard to control pollution sources in terms of increment and stock. Jin Wei, director of Beijing MCEIT, said that Beijing’s industrial development would focus on high-tech manufacturing and modern manufacturing and that the industry spatial layout would be upgraded gradually. Up until now, 184 corporations with pollutants over-discharged in Beijing are repelled and in 2013 the number will hit over 200 at this speed.
