On 4th, Nov., 2013 EU-China Exhibition on Urban Development was held in Beijing. Trial cities were selected in previous preparations and the EU-China Smart City Cooperation was successfully launched. The forum saw the participation of international and local institutional representatives, who shared their views on fundamental themes in the urban process like smart cities, low-carbon development and mobility and agreed on cooperation in industrial mutual benefits, core technology R&D among Smart Cities. Agreements were accomplished from both sides to tackle with challenges brought by fast urbanization.
