India and South-Pacific countries agreed to strengthen cooperation on climate change, economy and trade, science and technology

India and 14 South-Pacific countries held a one-day summit meeting in India on August 21. They discussed issues on utilizing satellite to monitor climate and environment, exploring marine resource, Indian navy to provide disaster aid, medicine manufacturing and agricultural cooperation, and they agreed to strengthen cooperation in global climate change negotiation, economy and trade, science and technology.
