On September 21-25, SDSN hosted its second capacity development workshop for National and Regional Network managers, with the support of GIZ. This workshop gave the opportunity to ten SDSN network managers to meet in person, discuss projects and potential collaborations, and share lessons learned.
The managers also met the SDSN Secretariat to learn more about the work of SDSN at the global level. The participants were also invited to attend the 7th Leadership Council Meeting of SDSN and the numerous side events organized by SDSN around UNGA.
In addition, the workshop provided the network managers with a greater understanding of fundraising and outreach strategies, an assessment of their own managerial skills and learning needs, and a jointly-developed network strategy design.
