More than 190 representatives from various countries attended the UN Summit this week. They discussed a global agenda, including 17 Sustainable Development Goals which calls for the fundamental change of the present and future world to combat poverty and climate change, and achieve sustainable and balanced growth. In the next 15 years, countries will make policy frameworks and allocate financial funds based on 17 Goals, in order to build a more equal and sustainable world that benefiting all. Novozymes, along with other enterprises, also attended the event, and its CEO, Mr. Peder Holk Nielsen, gave a speech as the representative of business leaders.
