Entrusted by the State Council, director of the Environmental Protection Ministry, Jining Chen gave a speech on the report by the State Council on the status of environmental condition and implementation of environmental protection goals. He said there will be the implementation of "soil ten items", including starting the detailed survey of soil pollution status, focusing on agricultural land and construction land, conducting classified control; completing the set of the state-controlled monitoring points, building a soil environment database; improving the relevant standards and technology regulations of the soil pollution prevention and control and promoting the pilot of management and restoration.
