China News Service, November 6 (Reporter Chen Jing) The "Report on Healthy Living in Chinese Cities" (2020) (hereinafter referred to as the "Blue Book") was officially released in Shanghai on the 6th.

The Blue Book shows that the healthy living conditions of Chinese urban people continue to improve and continue to improve.

The eastern region is ahead of the central and western regions.

The blue book, led by Professor Huang Gang, the president of Shanghai Medical College and doctoral supervisor, systematically evaluates and analyzes the healthy life index of 289 urban residents above the prefecture level.

According to the Blue Book, the central and western regions have greater room for improvement and potential for later development in the construction of a healthy life, and the border areas of Xinjiang, Tibet, and Inner Mongolia have made rapid progress.

The Blue Book shows that the average scores of the Urban Healthy Living Index in eastern, central and western regions of China are 61.03, 51.55, and 50.70.

Among the top 50 cities for healthy living in the country, 33 are in the eastern region, accounting for 66% of the total; 7 in the central region, accounting for 14% of the total; 10 in the western region, accounting for 20% of the total .

According to statistics, the average growth rate of the economic security index is about 5.54%.

Among them, the average growth rate of the economic security index in the eastern region is about 5.18%, and the average growth rate of the economic security index in the central and western regions is about 5.58%.

The average growth rate of the economic security index of the central and western regions is higher than the average growth rate of the eastern regions and cities across the country. In Huanggang's view, this shows that the country continues to pay great attention to the economic construction of the central and western regions and has achieved remarkable results.

China's regional coordinated development is advancing steadily, and economic guarantees are becoming more and more solid.

It is understood that since 2017, Shanghai Medical College has compiled and published 4 "Report on Healthy Living in Chinese Cities", continuously analyzing and researching the healthy lives of Chinese urban people and their improvement.

In recent years, China's medical and health services have developed rapidly, the medical and health systems and mechanisms have been continuously optimized, and the medical security of urban residents has been strengthened.

The Blue Book compares the development situation in the last 4 years, and the analysis shows that the average growth rate of the medical and health index has reached about 9.56%.

Huang Gang believes that in the face of the sudden outbreak of new crown pneumonia in 2020, the Chinese government has curbed the spread of the epidemic with the fastest speed and minimal cost. This is a strong evidence of the advantages of China's system and the rapid development of medical and health services.

In recent years, the state has continuously attached importance to environmental protection and ecological construction, and major pollution indicators have been continuously improved.

The blue book shows that in 2020, there will be 152 cities in China with a 100% municipal solid waste treatment rate, an increase of 17 from 2019; among the key environmental protection cities, there are 24 cities with an average PM2.5 concentration of less than 35, an increase from 2019 In 2020, there are 34 cities with air quality of 300 days or better than Class II, which is an increase from 2019.

According to the Blue Book: Shanghai has ranked second in the country in the comprehensive index of urban healthy living for four consecutive years, and first in the Yangtze River Delta; the domestic waste disposal rate has reached 100% for two consecutive years, ranking first in the country; the economic security index and cultural health index have ranked first in the country 2. The population development index ranks third in the country, among which life expectancy per capita ranks first in China; the public service index ranks fourth in the country.

On the same day, a forum with the theme of "Building a Scientific Personal Health Plan" was held. Officials, experts and scholars from the National Health Commission, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, etc., jointly discussed how to prevent and reduce the occurrence of diseases and embrace a healthy life.
