Electric Taxis to Exceed 1000 This Year in Beijing, every Taxi will Enjoy 3,000 Yuan of Subsidies per Month
On August 2nd, Beijing Transportation Committee said that the newly added 50 electric taxis were officially on operation in Changping District. By the second half of this year, the number of electric taxis in Changping District will reach 200 and the number of electric taxis on operation in Beijing City will exceed 1000. Due to the limitation of battle range and the charging instruments, all electric taxis are on pilot running in suburbs and each taxi enjoys 3000 subsidies from the municipal government.
