MIIT: Communication equipment manufacturers should enhance technology R&D on energy conservation and emission reduction
On September 5th, Zhu Jun, the Deputy Director General of Department of Communication Development, MIIT, said on the Fourth Communication Industry Energy Conversation and Emission Reduction Conference that the State Council launched Opinions on Promoting Information Consumption to Expand Domestic Demand and China Broadband Strategy, which started information consumption in China. This brings new requirements to information and communication industry and the target of energy conservation and emission reduction should be further implemented to driving the development of industry chains.
