Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Poland to Open the Largest Business Conference During COP19

H.E. Mr. Janusz Piechociński, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy will open Climate Solutions on November 17th at the Marriott Hotel, Warsaw.

The largest business conference during the UNFCCC COP19 will also feature the Deputy Minister of Environment of Poland Ms. Beata Jaczewska, and other Ministers and Negotiators from Finland, United Arab Emirates, UK, France, Peru, Denmark, Singapore, and the USA.

More than 1000 high-level delegates have registered, including more than 120 CEOs from companies such as 3M, ABB, Aviva, British American Tobacco, Bayer, BMW, Bosch, Carrefour, Chevron, Coca Cola, Danfoss, Deloitte, GlaxoSmithKline, IKEA, KPMG, L’Oreal, Maersk, Metro, Microsoft, Mitsubishi Chemical, Munich RE, Nestlé, Novozymes, Orange, Procter & Gamble, PwC, RWE, Sanofi, Santander, Shell, Siemens, Toyota, and Unilever.

The global agenda for this year’s summit will be “The Road to Paris 2015” to discuss and promote solutions for a global deal in 2015. High-level plenary sessions that will form the building blocks of a global deal include Finance, Policy, Sustainable Innovation, and Energy.
