Xie Zhenhua attended the 18th BASIC Ministerial Conference on Climate Change
On August 7-8, the 18th BASIC Ministerial Conference on Climate Change was held in India New Delhi and deputy president, Xie Zhenhua attended the meeting with a delegation. Ministers of India, South Africa, Brazil, and China exchanged opinions on the outcome of the UN climate change conference in Lima, 2015 international climate agreement, improvement of action intensity by 2020, the United Nations climate summit and other issues and reached broad consensus. A joint statement was issued after the ministerial meeting, and a press conference was held.
