UN Development Summit formally launched Transforming Our World: 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in New York

On September 25, UN Sustainable Development Summit formally launched the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, agreed by 193 member states in early September. The Agenda includes 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and 169 targets, aiming to achieve three unprecedented goals in the next 15 years: eliminating extreme poverty, combating inequality and injustice, and containing climate change.
