Numerous proposals made by the representatives at the Two Sessions involve environmental protection industries including Three Wastes treatment, Elastic City construction, air pollution control, and soil restoration. Premier Li Keqiang states in the government work report that not only greater efforts should be made in environmental protection and pushing up green development for new breakthroughs, but energy conservation and environmental protection industry should also be developed into a pillar industry of China.
