IEA's Reflection on Energy: Renewable Energy and Climate Change
Recently, the IRENA issued a report titled Rethinking Energy: Renewable Energy and Climate Change. The report points out that renewable energy is the key element for each country to reach climate change goals as well as to accelerate economic growth and support sustainable development. The global temperature control within 2℃ could be half done if the portion of renewable energy in the global total energy will double by 2030 as well as the energy efficiency was promoted.
