In 1986, he was selected by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and begun his career as a diplomat over 10 years, serving Chinese diplomatic.
Huang joined Veolia Water (former Compagnie Générale Des Eaux) in 1999. Since 2004,he is presiding over external relations as the Vice President of Veolia Water China. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Peking University and Tsinghua University in 2006 and 2012, respectively. He has become Vice President of Veolia China since 2010.
