Ma Weiping
Dr. Weiping Ma graduated in Building Materials Science and Engineering at the Tongji University in Shanghai (China), with a Ph.D in Material Science and Engineering at Pennsylvania State University (USA) and MBA in Integration Management at Michigan State University (USA).
Dr. Ma has acquired a significant business experience in cement and concrete industry both in the United States and China. From 1996 to 2002, he served in Holcim (US) as Senior Process Engineer, Project Manager, and Manager of Product Support and Development. In 2002, with Lafarge’s entry to China, Dr. Ma was appointed as Vice President of Lafarge China and Lafarge Shui-On Cement in charge of marketing and sales. In December 2009, Dr. Ma was appointed as Country Manager (China) of Italcementi Group and Managing Director of Shaanxi Fuping Cement.
Dr. Ma was born on May 4, 1961, with a nationality of USA.
