Career History
Mr. Mollica has responsibility for MWV’s business activities in the Asia Pacific region.
Mr. Mollica began his career with Westvaco in 1983 at Westvaco’s Luke Maryland Fine Papers Mill taking on a number of technical and operational assignments. In 1984 he was appointed to the company’s Bleached Board operations in Covington Virginia as a Technical Sales Service Engineer. In 1988 he was named Product Manager for the company’s Liquid Packaging Division. In 1991 he returned to the Covington operations as Manager of Quality Assurance and in 1997 was promoted to Manager of the Bleached Board Divisions Technical Sales Service and Product Development organizations. In 1999 Mr. Mollica was promoted to Manager, Westvaco Worldwide with responsibility for managing Westvaco’s non US sales offices and businesses. He was named Vice President North American sales in 2003, and in 2006 was named Vice President & Business Manager for the America’s and Africa regions. In 2008 Mr. Mollica relocated to Shanghai to oversee the company’s paperboard businesses in the Asia Pacific region. In 2011 he was named Managing Director, Asia Pacific adding oversight of all the company’s Asia Pacific businesses and activities.
