Chen Yudong
Dr. Chen Yudong was born in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province. He graduated from Baoji Weibin Middle School in 1978. In 1982, he obtained bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering at Chongqing University. From 1989, he served as Executive Engineer of the Perceptron Inc. in Greater Detroit, USA. In 1991, he received his master and PhD degrees in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan. From 1995, he served as US-NSF-STA Research Fellow in Japan Science and Technology Agency, conducting consultancy of concurrent manufacturing system and FMS for automotive industry to Japanese researchers and industries. In 1998, he received the MBA degree at Michigan State University and returned back to China to serve as the Chief Engineer-Greater China, Business Development Director and Co-country Manager of a leading automotive supplier.
In 2007, Dr. Chen Yudong joined Bosch Group Gasoline Engine Department and served as the Senior Vice President, responsible for business development in China. From May, 2008 to December 2010, he served as the Executive Vice President of Bosch (China) Investment Ltd., in charge of Original Equipment Sales. Since 2011, Dr. Chen Yudong has been the President of Bosch (China) Investment Ltd.
