Jens Tommerup
Mr. Jens Tommerup joins Vestas with rich cultural, international and executive management experience in operating factories, sales offices and R&D facilities.
Tommerup has worked 12 years in China before joining Vestas. Tommerup was CEO of the industrial paint manufacturer Hempel Group’s joint-venture company with China Merchants Holding (International) and was in charge of building up the Chinese operations including 3 factories, 21 offices, R&D and training facilities. Tommerup has particularly worked with developing new concepts related to key account management, technical services and partnerships with key stakeholders in China.
During this period Tommerup was also member of the senior management at China Merchants Holding (International) and member of the Hempel Group’s top management team.
Mr. Jens Tommerup holds a Diploma as Master Mariner, a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering and has pursued further executive education at IMP in London and INSEAD in France.
