Xie Hui
Dr Xie has more than 20 years’ experience in environmental consultancy in China and across both the North American and Asia Pacific regions. This includes environmental, health and safety projects including environmental site assessments, risk assessments and soil and groundwater remediation projects.
In addition Dr Xie is currently the Deputy Executive Director of the Committee of Soil and Groundwater Environment for the Chinese Society of Environmental Sciences, a top Chinese National think-tank that advises Central Government and others on preventative and remediation measures for soil and groundwater pollution. He has also participated as a panel expert in many Chinese Government Project Approval Meetings and has been a speaker at numerous conferences and workshops for regulators, professionals and university students.
In 2007, Dr Xie was awarded the ‘2007 DuPont Excellence Award for Sustainable Growth’ for his contribution to a soil and groundwater remediation project in China.
ERM has appointed Dr. Shaun Xie as the Managing Director of its China operations since February 2010.
