Xiang Feng has rich experience in government relations. At GM, he leads an experienced team building and maintaining a strong relationship with key government agencies and interpreting China’s political environment to support management decisions. Mr Xiang resides in Beijing.
Kevin E Wale, Chairman of GM China and CEO in China, India and ASEA expressed that he was pleased to have Mr Xiang joining the team. He also said that with rich experience in public affairs, Mr Xiang will surely enhance GM’s public image in China and improve its partnerships.
Prior to joining GM, Mr. Xiang was Vice President of Public Affairs, Asia Pacific Region for UPS, where he worked from 2003 to 2010.Earlier, he started working in China’s Ministry of Commerce from 1988, and was Director at General Office.
Xiang Feng holds a bachelor’s degree in Chinese language and literature from Nanjing University and an MPA degree from J. F. Kennedy School of Government in Harvard University.
