Mr. Ma Zehua was appointed as the Chairman of Board, and Secretary of Party Committee of China Ocean Shipping (Group) Company (referred to as COSCO Group hereinafter) in July 2013.
He had been Deputy Manager of Shipping Department of China Ocean Shipping Company, President of COSCO (UK) Ltd., General Manager of the Development Division and Manager of Overseas Affairs Department of the Development Division of COSCO Group,Assistant President and General Manager of the Development Division of COSCO Group, Presidentof COSCO Americas Inc., Deputy General Manager and Party Committee Member of COSCO Guangzhou, General Manager and Secretary of the Party Committee of COSCO Qingdao, Executive Vice President and Party Committee Member of COSCO Group, Executive Vice President and Secretary of Party Committee of China Shipping (Group) Company, Director of the Board, President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of COSCO Group. Being a senior international shipping expert, Mr. Ma has over 30 years rich experiencesin managing shipping companies both at home and abroad and he is currently deputy to the 12th National People's Congress and member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of 12th National People's Congress.
Mr. Ma Zehua graduated from Shanghai Maritime University, majored in international law. He has a master's degree and the qualification of Senior Economist.
