2013 Global Eco-Forum annual meeting held in Guiyang
The 2013 Global Eco-Forum annual meeting started in Guiyang, the capital of southwest China's Guizhou Province on July 19, 2013.
Discussions on the first day include sub-forum panels on Forestry and Sustainable Urbanization. The 3-day conference, with the theme "Building an Eco-civilization: Green Transformation and Transition", emphasized a green economy, green urbanization and green consumption.
As China’s only forum focusing on the environment, it has attracted hundreds of ecology experts, leaders of NGOs and businesses, as well as politicians from both China and abroad.
